What is the best way to begin a career in Marketing?

I have a Bachelors degree in Marketing, a decent GPA, a pretty solid work history (with sales experience), and I believe that I interview fairly well. But for some reason I seem to be having a hard time getting a job that is worthwhile. I want to begin a real career in Marketing. Any suggestions?
